Robotic-Assisted Surgery

We offer state-of-the-art robotic-assisted surgery to a very wide range of patients in multiple specialties. As a less invasive option some benefits can include:

  • Shorter hospitalization
  • A more comfortable and faster recovery to return to normal activities
  • Smaller incisions, resulting in reduced risk of infection
  • Reduced blood loss and transfusions
  • Minimal scarring

You are encouraged to discuss if this approach is right for you with your physician.

If you have questions and want to learn more call (925) 947-3322.

Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA)

ROSA Knee System enables surgeons to carry out minimally invasive knee replacement procedures with greater precision and a higher standard of care, helping restore a natural, balanced knee.

  • Total Knee Replacement

Learn more about Robotic-Assisted Total Knee Replacement.

Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy

Robotic-assisted bronchoscopy provides a unique approach for visualizing and accessing small, peripheral nodules in hard-to-reach areas of the lung.

  • Better reach, visualization and control provides doctors with an advanced method for diagnosing early stage lung cancer, when it is most treatable
  • Saves time and reduces stress, eliminating the need to make multiple trips to the hospital (CT Scan and Endoscopy can now be performed in a single procedure)
  • Fast recovery time (patients usually go home the same day)

Learn more about Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy or call (925) 947-3322 for more information.

Angioplasty Procedure

Angioplasty procedures ensure patients have access to the most up-to-date surgical capabilities including the following and more.

  • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)

Learn more about Robotic Assisted Angioplasty or call (925) 674-2233 for more information.

Gynecology Procedures

Gynecological robotic-assisted procedures ensure that patients have access to the most up-to-date surgical capabilities including the following and more.

  • Complex gynecology procedures
  • Hysterectomy
  • Myomectomy (Uterine Fibroid Removal)
  • Robotic surgery for endometriosis and pelvic pain

Thoughts from our surgeons:

“More surgeons are now performing robotic surgery, with greater variety.”

“Patients leave the hospital sooner, they get back to their routines sooner, and the procedures are associated with fewer complications”.

Call (925) 947-3322 for more information.

Lung Procedures

Lung robotic-assisted procedures ensure patients have access to the most up-to-date surgical capabilities including the following and more.

  • Anti reflux surgery

  • Diaphragm plication (for paralysis of diaphragm)
  • Diaphragm repair
  • Esophagectomy
  • Gastrectomy (for gastric cancers)
  • Heller myotomy (for achalasia – swallowing disorder)
  • Lobectomy (for lung disease)
  • Mediastinal (chest cavity) tumor resection
  • Wedge resections

Thoughts from our surgeons:

“We have honed our techniques to the point where robotic surgery has just become regular surgery on a better platform, with better techniques”.
